Sixteen categories make up the Cuisine NZ Champions of Cheese Awards in 2010. Each category was judged in
classes to determine the best of each. Medals are awarded in every
class from bronze to gold. Judges will award a Champion Cheese in every
award category from the gold medal winners. All Gold Medal winning
categories 1 - 15 were eligible for the ultimate accolades of Yealands
Estate Champion of Champions Award and the Cuisine Champion Artisan Cheese Award which is
awarded to the best cheese from smaller Cheesemaking companies. (Annual
production under 25 tonnes).
